Kristin Stone McCubbins was born in to a musical, theatrical family, and raised in Kansas. Growing up, she was cast in several local musical productions, and grew a deep love for all things theater. She is a graduate of the first graduating class of Highlands Ranch High School.

In college, she continued her pursuit, earning a BA in theater, with a minor in education. She started teaching speech and drama in the acclaimed Shawnee Mission North theater department, then at Harmony Middle School in Blue Valley. Her love of directing and young actors was evident in her fresh, unique approach to shows. Kristin is mom to Ashleigh, 22, Kelsey, 16, and Cole, 14. After many years of supporting them in their theatrical interests, and much prayer and anticipation, she has co-founded Adoration Creative Theater.
